Buyer protection

Pay people you've never met.

Sellers are checked before they can list. We hold your money until the card turns up and matches. If it does not, you get your money back.

Four things standing between you and a bad deal

01

A verified person

Sellers give us ID before their first listing goes live. There is a real name behind the account.

02

Your money, held

You pay Sleevr, not the seller. They can see the order. They cannot touch the money until you have the card.

Where your money sits
03

A listing to hold them to

Set, number, condition and language are all on the listing. So you can check the card against it.

04

A way to say something's wrong

Tell us before the money moves and it stops. No arguing in a group chat with forty people watching.

Talk to a person

Where your money sits

Where your money is, the whole way

Follow one order from the moment you pay. The answer to "who has my money right now" is never "the seller" until the card has landed.

The two questions everyone asks

What if the seller just doesn't send it?

Then they do not get paid and you get refunded. A seller who ghosts here walks away with nothing, and with a record on their account.

How tracking works

What if it arrives, but it's not what I paid for?

Tell us before the money is released. It stays held while we look at the listing, the photos and the card. If the card is not what was listed, you get refunded.

How listings are structured

Same protection, whatever you collect

One TCG or another, they are all live and growing.

What you don't have to do any more

Most of buying a card off a stranger is admin you took on because there was no alternative.

Vet the person yourself

No scrolling their history for red flags. No asking the group if anyone has dealt with them. We checked before they could list.

Send money on trust

No paying an account in a name you cannot check, hoping the screenshot is real.

Chase your own parcel

No "any update?" messages. The tracking sits on your order.

What this doesn't cover

Worth reading before you assume otherwise. We'd rather be boring about this now than argue about it later.

Deals done off Sleevr

Spot a card here and then arrange it privately, and none of this applies. There is no order, so nothing is held.

Changing your mind

This covers a card that is wrong or missing. It is not a returns desk for a card you regret at 2am.

Grading opinions

We can check a card against its listing. We cannot say whether a raw card would grade a 9 or an 8.

How condition is listed

Questions about protection

No. You pay Sleevr. The seller only sees that an order exists and where to send the card.

We check their ID before their first listing goes live. So there is a real person attached to the account.

The payment freezes. We ask you both for the listing, the photos and the parcel. If the card is not what was listed, you get refunded.

At least two days from delivery. Flag a problem in that time and the money stays held while we look at it.

We handle that case by case. Tell us what happened and we will sort it with you.

Yes. Same process. The money does not move until the box is in your hands and matches.

The same process runs both ways. Holding the money protects you from a buyer who claims a card never arrived.

Ready when you are

Go find it.

Type the card. We hold the money until it is in your hands.

Free to search. No account needed until you buy.
